Well, writing from Russia was a bust. Ended up way too busy, that and the whole paying for internet in internet cafes thing.

Anyway, back in Alaska now, had a lovely Christmas a day early ’cause my dad was on shift Christmas day. Saving lives, etc. ‘Cept I don’t know that they had any calls, which I suppose is lucky. Got a bunch of books about Siberia from the ‘rents.

Currently knitting, ’cause I learned how in Russia, from one of my fellow students. The prospect of being able to produce my own, custom wool socks is very exciting!
